They're very common down here! You see them everywhere! Even just hanging out in the canals down the main streets, lol. I always called them ugly ducks when I was a kid :p But I think they're pretty beautiful now.
LOL--they do seem like an odd combination of ugly and beautiful! I think that's maybe why I find them so appealing. Of course, I'm not sure I've ever seen any species of duck that I didn't think was cute. :)
Wow! That is one awesome duck!!! Are they common down there? I've never seen one, unless in a zoo somewhere.
